1/2 hour to 45 Minutes South of Bancroft, several cottage roads to access this large lake.

Lake Size:
6 1/2 Miles or 945.8(ha), Maximum depth 29.9 Metres, Mean depth 6.7 Metres.

Lake Characteristcs:
Large quiet lake for its size, a real cottagey, Muskoka type lake. All the back land around Eels Lake is crown. The lake is 40% crown land. Most of the roads are seasonal but changing quickly to year round. One of the better priced larger lakes. My records show 336 properties on the lake. Eels Lake does have a marina being called Eels Lake Marina, they have a water taxi service at 1-705-656-1103. The public boat launch is off Hwy 28 south from Bancroft, right at Eels Lake Public Landing Road.

Lake Trout, Pickerel, Small Mouth Bass.
